ABOUT CRAIG ALVIN
Craig Alvin is an award-winning audio engineer based in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Alvin has worked with a wide roster of artists across genres. His recording and mix credits include Hanson, Little Big Town, Amy Grant, Vanessa Carlton, The Features, Andrew Belle, Brittany Howard, and many more. Alvin won two Grammys for his engineering work on Kacey Musgraves’ Golden Hour in 2019, and has contributed to her later albums Star-Crossed and Deeper Well. In 2024, Deeper Well was certified Gold by the RIAA and earned multiple Grammy nominations. Alvin operates Noble Steed Studios in Muscle Shoals, outfitted with modern and vintage gear—including an API 48-channel Legacy console and a UA 610 console—that reflects his commitment to combining classic sound with contemporary production. His extensive work has earned him a strong reputation nationally for capturing compelling live-in-studio performances and for his sonic skill as both a tracking and mix engineer, within analog and digital formats. ​
